It's been a while hasn't it? It's nearly a year I haven't updated this blog. Where have I been missing? I got a job and I forgot about this place. Well, I did visit this place a few times but I was too lazy to update anything.

It's Eid festive right now. I didn't go to my mom's hometown like I usually do so I spent Eid in the city. Not really splendid like usual.

I'll update again when something comes up. Aite!

It's time for the new artists in Korea to ride along the "Hallyu". We have new artists in the music scene very recently. The girls - HAM (Heart & Mind), JQT, Secret, Lady's Collection, and Top.Az. The guys - MBLAQ, BEAST/B2ST, and RUN. The group who is going to debut soon - Child of Empire. Too many? I think so too. With the flood of new artists on the market, who's gonna come out top? Rivalry between artists is normal but since there are too many groups debuted recently and groups that are gonna debut soon, it's hard for us listeners to pick out our favorite. They need to come out with something new and refreshing for us to enjoy.

For now, I'm kinda having my eyes on these two new girl groups, JQT and Secret. I have listened to their debut songs and watched their music videos. I think JQT's "I Fell For You" is pretty catchy and Secret's "I Want You Back" is pretty good.
JQT's "I Fell For You" has a JPop-ish feeling to it. Para para sounds and concept. I saw the MV. I can say that their "goth" outfits weren't suitable for that kind of music. They were like singing rock music when in reality their music is far from that sound.
While Secret's "I Want You Back" is a R&B song. It has this sweet and lovely R&B melody to it. I can't stop listening to it for now. Have been playing it on loop.

JQT, Secret, MBLAQ, and BEAST/B2ST has made their stage debut on M.Countdown last night. I saw JQT and Secret. Gotta say I love their performances especially Secret.
For tonight Music Bank, Secret and BEAST are gonna make their stage debut. Hope all the best for them!

Finally, it's time for 2009 Dream Concert! It was held in Seoul's World Cup Stadium last night. The performers are Big Bang, Super Junior, SNSD, 2PM, SHINee, Jewelry, 4minute, 2NE1, Kara, Chae Yeon, Wheesung, Park Hyo Shin, T-ara, Supernova, f(x), Kim Tae Woo, 2AM, MC Mong and Super Junior-M.

I'm looking forward to see SNSD, 4minute, 2NE1, Kara, f(x), and T-ara and Supernova. I wanna see T-ara and Supernova perform their new TTL.Listen.2. It was released yesterday and I have been listening to it. It's awesome <3 I've even seen the MV teaser and I'd say it's gonna come out great with the new dance moves and outfits. But I think Gwang Su's dishwasher gloves does not look appropriate. O.O Anyway, can't wait to see the full MV. Damn, Eunjung looks fine! I can't stop thinking about her since I saw her the first time. You're my favorite, girl! <3 And T-ara and Supernova should join together, permanently :)

Lately I've been dreaming about celebrities. Most of them were sad though. I had a happy dream with Jooyeon of After School once. Man, that was good. We were a couple in a high school. We were holding hands, I put my hand on shoulder, kissed her cheek and forehead, played around and all of this we were doing in public at the school. We didn't have any shame, did we? Hahaha
I had a dream of SNSD's Jessica and Kara's Goo Hara but those ended sadly. Sad endings! I actually dreamt of After School's Ga Hee and Beka, and 2NE1's Dara but I forgot what they were about.

Another Chuseok special program broadcasted on SBS and it's called "Idol Big Show" where they gathered famous singers and groups to let them perform on stage. This isn't your ordinary music show that only shown performances of singers but they also added some surprises. These surprises were an interview of Kara by G-Dragon, an interview of So Nyuh Shi Dae by 2AM, So Nyuh Shi Dae's in their practice room practicing their debut song "Into The New World", 2NE1 doing their unplugged version of "I don't care" with G-Dragon, and the "be-with-Kara-for-one-day". The list of artists who were participating were none other than So Nyuh Shi Dae, Kara, 2NE1, 4minute, After School, G-Dragon, Big Bang, 2AM and Lee Seung Gi.

Kara performed happily on stage with trot music. After that, Nicole and Hara danced to Madonna's "Music" and were joined by their fellow members with hip hop dances and finished it off with cool and sexy dances.
Lee Seung Gi performed his song on his 4th album, "Love is...".
So Nyuh Shi Dae performed debut hit single, "Into The New World" and "Gee", while Hyoyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung danced to "The Boogie That Be" and "Break Away".
4minute performed their "MUZIK", while HyunA did a solo performance by dancing to Usher's "Bad Girl".
After School performed Pussycat Dolls' "Buttons".
2AM performed as Dirty Eyed Girls and they performed Brown Eyed Girls' "Abracadabra".
2NE1 performed the remix of "Fire", "Let's Go Party", and Big Bang's "Last Farewell".
G-Dragon performed his latest hit "Breathe".
G-Dragon and Dara of 2NE1 were performing together as a couple singing and dancing to G-Dragon's "Hello" and even surprised us with his fake kissing behind his cap with Dara.
The most surprising part was the appearance of Big Bang because it has been 9 months they haven't appeared on screen. This time Big Bang performed "Last Farewell" right after 2NE1 done with their own "Last Farewell" and left. 2NE1 joined them again performing "Last Farewell". Their final act was performing "How Gee" before saying goodbye to the show.

I think YG family were monopolizing the whole show. o.o
Well, the "Big Bang and 2NE1 performing together" idea was good. Since we haven't seen Big Bang on tv for the last 9 months.

I'm a happy bird because I got to see Kara and So Nyuh Shi Dae! XD
There's nothing more valuable in this world than to see Kara in their dormitory, without make ups, waking up, eating breakfast together, chatting, and bidding Jiyoung farewell before she left for school. The interview with G-Dragon was hella funny. Nicole was teaching G-Dragon on how to do the butt dance though I think what G-Dragon pulled was a hip hop dance. :P Can't resist it, can you, G-Dragon? Hahaha...
I also got to see So Nyuh Shi Dae performed their debut song which made me fell in love with them at first sight!
All I can say now is... damn! It wasn't enough. More of So Nyuh Shi Dae and Kara please~

It's Chuseok festival in Korea right now for 3 days since Saturday. It's a harvest festival and Koreans visit their hometown. What's good about this holiday is that there are so many interesting tv shows will be aired especially variety shows that has your favorite artists participate in.

One of the shows is called "Sweet Girl". It's a program where all the popular girl groups in Korea take part and show another side of them other than singing and dancing. Actually this show was aired last Friday and we have our winner for this show! The best of the best, T-ara's Boram. Although it was very unexpected. Okay. Let me tell you how it all began. First of all, I watched it without subtitles so I just guessed what happened from what their actions were. :P

The show started off with Noh Hong Chul, our MC for this program riding a bus. After that the bus he's riding picked up all the girl groups one at each time at different locations. Kara, 4minute, So Nyuh Shi Dae, After School, Brown Eyed Girls, and T-ara were the participants. They were all gotten pretty excited seeing each other in the same bus. They were then taken to a place to have some fun together showing off their skills in dancing. Polls were taken earlier and So Nyuh Shi Dae's Sunny took the title for prettiest lips while T-ara's Hyomin got the prettiest legs.

After that they were taken to where it seems like an abandoned place. This time they competed together for arm wrestling and half of them were eliminated. The qualifiers for the next round took a ride together on the bus and they had lucky draws on the bus. Brown Eyed Girls' Narsha seemed to be doing her own thing while they were busy with the lucky draws. The other girls sympathized with her so they decided to share their winnings with Narsha. My guess is because Narsha said something about she's being alone without her other members or she was sad because she didn't win anything for the draws.

So for the next round, the girls were competing in hammering the nails perfectly. After that, a round of truck pulling to some distance.

The only girls left in the final round were Kara's Hara and Jiyoung, 4minute Jihyun, After School's Beka, and T-ara's Boram and Q-ri. The final round is a competition of running race. The result was unexpected. Why? Because it looks like Hara was going to win but she fell off when she was just about to reach the finish line. So Boram won! She won herself a pack of Korean Beef. That must be an expensive high class beef but the show was priceless.

What I noticed throughout the show was the friendship between girl groups' members. For example, the closeness of Kara's Hara and So Nyuh Shi Dae's Jessica.

In searching for...?

I'm on my semester break until December. It's boring. Need a job. Need to transfer to another college so I can study part-time.

What's good these days? It is the old school KPop. Well not really old school but it's the late 90's and early 2000's of KPop. H.O.T, Shinhwa, G.O.D, S.E.S., Fin.K.L, and 1TYM. These idol groups are the ones who started the flame of interest in the world of KPop. Most of these idol groups had already disbanded. The only one who still stay strong until now is Shinhwa except they are on hiatus. There are floods of girl/boy groups in the Korean music industry at the moment. But we can't forget what the previous generation of Korean idol groups had done for the world of KPop to be what it's like today.

Facebook's games are kinda addicting. Don't ya think so?

I could say "finally". No more slacking at home doing nothing. There's not much to say. I'm taking a diploma in business administration.

Internet is shaky lately thanks to the underwater cable. I heard it was going to get fixed on 5th of April but recently the news on my ISP said it will be on 9th of April. Hopefully no more delay. But I don't trust my monopolizer ISP anymore. I've been seeing people are saying that my ISP is throttling filesharing service like rapidshare, megaupload, etc. They throttled P2P before but now this? I'm thinking of changing ISP. Let's all boycott TMNut Screamyx.

I've been getting into the Korean girl group called "2NE1" from YG. They released a digital single "Lollipop" and I'm addicted to it. These girls are the new hot stuff. They got the attitude. They got talent. CL can rap. Park Bom is the bomb. Sandara is a cutie. Min Ji is so young yet so cool. Their music video is colorful. Love 'em!

Alive, finally

I've been dragged away from the internet world for a while. I blame it on Football Manager 2009. I thought the game was pretty addicting since it's nothing too much of a headache for a computer game. Yes, the reason why I'm writing on my blog right now is because I have became bored with that game and decided to put an end to the addiction.

I realized that my previous action made me un-updated with the latest in the entertainment world. I'm trying to catch up since this morning. I've found out my favorite musician/artists have released their latest works and they were actually a month old. Damn.

Anyway, along with that I've discovered some new music, good and bad. The good stuffs are all from Korea. "After School", "Davichi" and "May Doni". After School's "AH" is addicting. I thought it was okay when I first listen to it. But when I listen to it repeatedly, it's became addicting. After School is a group of 5 talented ladies, especially Park Ga Hee. But I love Lee Joo Yeon the most because she's too cute!~ Davichi is a pop duo consisting of two girls. Their first hit songs were actually sound similar to SG Wannabe's music. I thought they were pretty nice especially when I watched their music videos. But then come their another hit single "Love and War". This is a much different style than their first hit singles. It's a poppish and cheeky song. I really love this song. Now they released their latest work, "Davichi in Wonderland", a mini-album. There are 2 hit singles in this album, "8282" and "I Made an Accident". I seriously love "8282". The song started off slow and when it reaches its chorus, it suddenly changes to techno beat, then it goes slow again after the chorus ends. Yeah, Kang Min Kyung is a cutie but I love Lee Hae Ri's voice more. May Doni released her first single and it was pretty good. I saw a video of her singing Alicia Keys "If I Ain't Got You" on Youtube when she was a trainee at YG. I thought she had a great voice. She was called the "female" Se7en by the media (I guess?). She should have her own image rather than being shadowed by another succesful artist. I don't like how Korean like to promote their artists by telling the people that this is the "female" or "male" version of another artists. They should have their own images and styles. Just like how I hate SM promoted So Nyuh Shi Dae as the female Super Junior. Isn't there any other way to promote them? I'm disappointed in Korean entertainment world.

Well, two days ago I had the urge to do a signature of Horikita Maki. I thought it would be a good idea if I go check out some vector tutorials and get some vector brushes. So I found what I was looking for and I made it. The result was pretty satisfying. Then I checked out other tutorials that I found at GFXvoid.com. I saw the abstract tutorials for signatures that captivated me. I tried out in addition with my own techniques, I made another signature. A One Piece signature. It turned out okay though I wasn't quite satisfied with it. Then I made another signature of Horikita Maki with that tutorial. I had a nice result.

Okay. My point is that I'm addicted to do more GFXing now. As you can see, I made a new banner for this blog. A Luffy's banner. When I made this, I didn't realize the time that flew. Hahaha I guess I had something to do now other than listening to music and watching anime/dramas now when I'm on the computer.

Okay, I just watched the latest subbed episode of One Piece. I want to read the manga but I still didn't get enough of anime. Well, I actually started to watch Vampire Knight Guilty that I left for a while at episode 8. Now I'm up to episode 9.

Anyway, I'm still curious as of what is the mystery behind the Florian Triangle. It's been said that the lost of ships and people already occured long before the arrival of Thriller Bark. So it wasn't fully the responsible of Gecko Moria for the lost of them. Oda Eiichiro also drew a big ass giant or monster (or was it three of that thing?), that thing eyes was shining red and it was hiding in the thick mist. It was really big, a lot bigger than Thriller Bark, the size was around the mystery of the gigantic shadow of the Jaya which the mystery has already been answered. I hope that the mystery behind the Florian Triangle will be answered in the later episodes of One Piece just like the mystery of the gigantic shadow of Jaya. I think the monster behind the mist of Florian Triangle have the connection with the Fishman Island (just like the gigantic shadow of Jaya). If the monster is really that big then it must be some kind of sea god or the Devil. Florian Triangle is like Bermuda Triangle in our real world. People say that it's the castle of the Devil. So it's the work of the Devil that abducted the ships and people. Maybe it's the final boss in One Piece! Luffy already beaten a "god" before that's Eneru. Now he's gonna beat the Devil. How wonderful. Oda Eiichiro might just make this one of an unaswered mystery of One Piece. Just like the phenomenan of Bermuda Triangle that no one can answers. But I don't want that!

Okay. So I have reached to the latest subbed episode of One Piece. Time to read the manga but I still want to watch anime. I have dozens of anime that I haven't completed watching the whole series. I have Gundam SEED Destiny and Black Lagoon but I left them un-watched for a while because I'm in the One Piece anime phase. I guess it's time to continue these two anime. Oh I just remember I have Hajime no Ippo anime on my hard drive but I haven't even started to watch it.

Anyway, alice nine released their new album yesterday. I haven't had the time to listen to all the songs in the album but I probably will after this.

I have been having flu almost everyday now. Is it because of the heat or I have those "more-worse-than-flu" sickness?

Ohhhhh~ I've been getting back into One Piece anime last week. I didn't leave out any free time to be wasted without watching One Piece. Not even my meal time and I left some days without taking baths! I bet I smelled like mud. I think I started around episode 270+ which is Water 7 arc. Now I've already watched until episode 376. I have to admit that One Piece is one of all-time my favorite anime/manga. The latest subbed episode is 384. I'm gonna reach there soon. So after that I'm gonna rely manga.

Tonight I got a little bit of headache but that's not gonna stop my journey with One Piece! De-re-shi-shi-shi-shi!

Oh yeah. I ran out of cigarettes. Who's gonna buy me a pack or two of them?! Eh eh? -smiles with sparkles-

Everything is back to normal

Internet connection is back to its normal speed. Slow connection gave me hell. Anyway, since I'm unemployed, all I do now is relaxing at home without bothering people. That also means I have no life. I want to get a job, a temporary job is fine but I'm too lazy for anything right now. I can't get serious with just getting a job that is temporary before I enter college in just 2 months. I already set my mind to studying, not working.

Good news is So Nyuh Shi Dae released their first mini album with the title "Gee" which is also their title song. I've watched their music video and they looked cheerful as always. Happily dancing and singing. I'm actually uploading their music video on Youtube and it's been more than 2 hours I've been waiting for it to complete uploading. I guess my upload speed is pretty slow at the moment.

Well, well, I'm trying to figure out how to make some money on the internet. Hmm...

I've been reading about what happened to my internet that made it so slow on my ISP's website. They said it was caused by "circuits fault on Southeast Asia - Middle East - Western Europe 4 (SMW4) submarine cable network between Palermo (Southern Italy) and Alexandria (Northern Egypt) linking Malaysia to Europe". Well, they also said to fix it by December 31st 2008. It's 31st already! How come it's still the same? Everyone will be expecting and thus my ISP will be hit by thousand of questions by the consumers. No matter what they do, they still suck. My ISP sucks.
